It's quite a responsibility to he called upon to represent Wellsville.And, even more so if you’re only eight-years-old.That's the position of Tony Van Schaick as he carries the Wellsville banner to Syracuse and cavernous Archbold Stadium as the local representative in the nationwide Pass, Punt Kick competition.Young Tony, winner of t h'o Wellsville competition several weeks ago, advanced to the next highest plateau last ’Saturday at Bradford where he Went against other first-level winners. He emerged the champ again there to qualify for the Syracuse action.It’s still a long way off, but some eight-year-olds are going to reach the finals which will be held at one of the post-season professional games.So, Tony, good luck in Syracuse!
