The ball was worked down to the two-yard line by a series of three plunges through center. Fourth down, two yards to go for the winning touchdown, and suddenly, with the Wildcats set for a line plunge, Joe Nitzel of the Lamar squad shot around right end and was over for a tally; score 6-6.Another anxious moment was recorded as Lamar prepared to kick for extra point. The kick was good and won the game forLamar — 7 to 6.For tot? 1 yardage gained in scrimmage plays Neosho led the. way with 118 yards while the Tigers ran up only 103.Neosho’s pass offense was really clicking with three out of four tries, good for a total of 35 yards. All of the passes went Thomas to Dolence. Lamar attempted seven tosses and completed none.In the first-dowm department, j both teams made eight. Penalties ran unusually lowr with only one 15-yard loss which was given to Lamar.
