Tier-old also hit Cortez along the sideline to bring in another six points.In the first play of the fourth quarter Puritt kept the ball and cut through the middle foreight yards for the final Highlands score.Mines would score once more after Highlands fumbled on their own 19 and the Orediggers recovered and fought their way into the endzone.Statistically, Highlands garnered 28 first downs to Mines 13, HU completed 14 of 20 passes attempted to Mines 13 out of 40, on the ground, HU amassed 1379 yards rushing compaired 123 for the Colorado school.Individually, Carl Garrett added 137 yards rushing to his total for the season, and Grady Herold complied an 11 for 14 record in passes completed.
