A1 Parrish scored twice for Northwest while Sammy Mauldin ran for one score and passed to Bill White for another. Parrish rushed for 100 yards in the game. The game was played at R.H. Watkins Stadium before 3,000 fans.Memphis State gave Mississippi State their first loss of the season after four wins. Memphis State won the game 33-13. Ole Miss ended a three game losing streak, the longest5* rin John Vaught's career,by defeating Tulane 24-7 in Jackson. USM blanked VMI 3-0 in Hattiesburg.October 20,1975Enterprise scored with 15 seconds to play as the Bulldogs blanked West Jones 7-0.Donald Ray King scored four times as South Jones blasted South Pike 36-0.Quitman nipped Northeast Jones 21-20 in high school football. Billy Moffett scored twice while Mark West added another TD. Ronnie Williams passed to Moffett for one score. Dale Lightsey and Junior Wallace led the Panthers, who scored in the final seconds of the game.
