In Cross Country SaturdayCards, 3 Area Teams Face Sectional TestsFood da Lac and three area acbods — Campbehsport,sod Lomira — will be taking part in cross country sectionals Saturday.Tbs Cardinals are at Waupaca for the targe school division, and Horicoo and Locmra will run there in the small school division. Campbeiisport travels t o Madison Memorial where the Cougars compete in the medium school division.2 Individuals QualifyTwo area runners, whose teams did not qualify in Tuesday’s regkmala for sectional competition, d i d qualify. They are Kewaskum’s Randy Backhaus for the medium school sectional at Madison, and Oakfield’s Steve Yantz for the small school sectional at Waupaca.Fond du Lac made it to the sectional by placing third, behind Appleton East and Neenah, in the Appleton West Regional. Joe Peebles, who came in eighth, was Fond du Lac’s top finisher m the meet.Cardinal coach Dennis Vetter expects Appleton East to continue its domination m the sectional and a Saturday hence, Occ 28, in the state meet at Kettle Moraine.
