Six wrestlers, one of them employing his wife as an assistant, will appear on Frank Barca's second wrestling program, slated for the Italian-American club mat next Monday night at 8:30 p.m.The cast includes some of the big name talent seen regularly over mid western television channels. The boy who brings his wife is a chap called Gypsy Joe. Joe is booked for one half of the card s double windup with a rough customer named Cesar Sando.Wrestling authorities say that Mrs. Gypsy Joe. who operates at ringside, is thoroughly versed in the techniques of the sport. She is said to assist her spouse with code signals while he is in there grappling.Sando, who pinned popular Johnny Balbo on Barca’s first card two weeks ago. is capable of licking the whole Gypsy Joe family. He is a Mexican star who is presently campaigning, with great success, in the Chicagoland territory.In the other half of the double windup attraction. Barca has billed Karl Gray and Billy Goelz. Goelz is a good boy who wrestles all out and wins often.The curtain raiser brings together Mike DiBiase and Zack Maikov. Maikov is mean at times. DiBiase is one of the many young college stars who have graduated to the professional ranks.The double windup bouts ar© two out of three fall matches with one hour time limits. Th© opener is a one fall event with a 30-minite time limit.
