Former Baseball Pitcher Injured In Plane CrashlyMfnelt;euHOUSTON, Oct 20.— Marvin Goodwin, former member of the Houston Haseball Club and now a member of the Cincinnati Club, National League, was seriousl injured in an airplane accident at noon Sunday.Sergt. W. H. McMath of Ameri-cus, Ga.. was painfully hurt. Goodwin suffered a fracture of both legs, slight concussion of tin* brain and several rib fractures. While his condition is critical, attendants at the Haptist Hospital believe he will recover. He may. however, be per-manentl incapacitated as a baseball player.Flight Just Started.Goodwin and McMath had just taken off In a biplane at Ellington Field.
