Spirit We*Brings Out Strange AttireA Donald duck hat? Students wearing overalls and football jerseys? These costumes were a part of spirit week at BCHS, a program set up by the cheerleaders. During the week students and teachers were invited to show their homecoming spirit by wearing apparel designated for that particular day.Cowboy hats, engineer hats, stocking caps, hats of all kinds were worn by students Monday. Many students participated but some forgot that it is impolite to wear hats in the classroom.Overalls and farm clothes were the attire for Tuesday as many students dressed up to salute the farmers. Wednesday it was the football boys' turn as students and faculty wore football jerseys to school.Dress-up day was Thursday and students as well as teachers dressed up in pant suits, dresses and leisure suits.The school colors of blue and vrtiite were worn by students Friday to complete spirit week. The cheerleaders felt that most students helped make spirit week successful.
