An excursion • train leaves the depot Ln this city at 7 a. nu, this morning. A large, number of ladies and gen* tlemen, cititens of Milwaukee and of towns along the line, will be in attendance; .together with the Milwaukee bight (Kurds, accompanied by MerrilPa Cornet Band. The military companies will spend the evening at La Crosse and take the eleven o’clock boat for St Paul. The special guests of the company will remain over night, and such, as ohoo*$ for 8t* Paul the day fblldwihg. The Common Council of La Crosse have appropriated $500 towards the expenses of 'the entertainment.— Guests will be provided for at the A^ngusta House and the United States.
