QUEENSVILLE DEFEATS VERNONQueensville base ball team and quite a few of the fans motored to North Vernon Sunday to play the fin al game of the season with the Ver non team. Queensville defeated Ver non by a score of 4 to 2 giving Queens ville two straight victories to Ver-. non’s one. Batteries for Quensville were George Ester and Flecker; Vernon Dausch and Calvert. Dausch struck out .the most batters but seemingly Vernon boys could not hit Ester while Queensville boys placed the ball in clear ground most every time. This closes the season with Queensville winning 13 games out of 16 played. We wish to thank the fans for the support of our team.»
