Mixed Curlers Elect ExecutiveThe Mixed Curling Club had their annual meeting and pot luck supper, on October 4th, at the Curling Rink. ^ -They enjoyed a delicious meal which was followed by a general meeting. Election of the new executive took place and are as follows: President - Dennis McMillan; Vice-President - Rick Frazer; Secretary-Trea-surer - Jackie Frazer.A General Committee was set up, consisting of some members from the 1977-78 committee, andnew members elected from those at the meeting. The general committee was broken up into five work committees.Gwen Moffatt, Mary Jen-ner, Lionel Aasen, and Brian Dawson will be purchasing the prized for thebon spiel s.Rick Frazer and Ralph Martin will be making up the draw for regular curling and the bonspiels.Alex House, Bert Jenner and Gordon Moffatt will be looking after the bar at thebonspiels.Mary Toderchuk, Noni Martin, Ollie Dawson, Marilyn Sloane, Barb Cowie and Bill Sihikal are responsible for purchasing the food and calling upon members to bring food, as required.Jud Scales and Jerry Toderchuk will be handling the publicity for the Club.At the conclusion of themeeting. Jud Scales showed a tilm of the highlights ofthe 1978 Silver Broom.The Club is looking forward to seeing a lot of people curling, in the Mixed Curling Club's 1978-79 season.
