All his beatings were by lonely one run margins. Elmer Arnold pitched and won a single game, Len Stuppy scored a victory and lost two, and Joe Schwerha, who was borrowed from the Lion Stores one week-end, lost his onlystart.: V......John Wiers, the star catcher, let the team in hitting with a mark of .411.
