Indians BeatWestern 18-0Here FridayThe Wyoming Indians continue their undefeated surge through the Rlackhawk Conference obstacles as,, they won over Western 18-0 here last , Friday evening.A Western mistake led to the Indians first score. A fumble by the | £ Rams on their own three yard line was recovered by Paul Mathes. Rucker 11 Meaker took the ball over for thetouchdown. The conversion attempt j £ failed.In the second period Oeri Unhold | i picked off a Ram pass and went 38 yards for the score. The PAT attempt failed and the Indians led 12-0 at halftime.There was no scoring in the third quarter as the defense teams went to c work. Rucker Meaker scored on a one yard plunge in the fourth quarter. The conversion attempt failed.The Rams were held to just 14 yards rushing and 16 yards passing by the defense-minded Indians. Wyoming had nine first downs while Western was held to four.
