Here is an outlook of Friday night’s games:WAPSIE VALLEY AT TURKEY VALLEYThe Warriors travel to Trojan land in what should be an interesting game that will feature the league’s top two leading rushers and the No. 1 defense in the conference.Junior Jerry Winter of Turkey Valley has rushed for 682 yards in 88 carries scoring 36 points. Right on his heels is Joe Norte of Wapsie who has carried the pigskin 107 times for 602 yards.Defensively the Wapsie Valley team has not been scored upon in conference play and tomorrow night should be its toughest test of the year.FREDERICKSBURG AT * TRIPOLIThe Falcons travel to Tripoli hoping to get at the .500 mark with a win there. The visitors are fresh off their first victory of the year over Dunkerlon last week while the hosts are gathering their forces again after South Winn downed them last Friday.Leading the way for the Panthers will be running back Barry Hocckman who is averaging 6.6 yards a carry. The visitors feature a passing game led by the combination of Darrell Steege and DaveGruenberg. The latter is leading the league in pass receptions with a total of 15.JESUP AT SOUTH WINNESHIEKSouth Winneshiek is 3*1 for the year and is second in the league when it comes to scoring. The young host team is led by conference scoring leader Steve Einck who has racked up an amazing 52 points. Offensively he is supported by Jerome Uhlenhake and the receiving of end Mick Hiilesland.Paul Estill is a main cog in the Jcsup offensive machine as he is rushing at a average of 5.2 yards per carry.DUNKERTON AT DENVERRounding out league action will be the Raiders traveling to Denver to take on the conferenceleaders. Denver has an offensiveaverage of 28 points per game led by the duo of Mike Wooldrik and Jon Gielau who have each scored 38 paints. Quarterback Greg Woiler is the leading passer in the league completing 22 of 50 for 364 yards.Dunkerton features the leading puntep in the conference as Ron Reichen is booting them at 40 yards per kick in 14 tries.
