sCOLLEGE WINSySECOND GAME0 fdOF THE SEASONPlayed Spectacular Game AndScore 14 Points to[?Opponents 6.■iVINCENNES HERE SATURDAY)r*»3 j Jasper College Academy won the 3 J *'£com] game of its season, playing a ^{Spectacular game and scoring 141 points to the opponents 6, The beginning o! the game was featured by jtwo consecutive thrilling runs of 25 and 20 yards by Heinrichs, Jasper leit-half. Jasper succeeded in carrying the ball to within 10 yards of goal before they were stopped by Coach MeCool’s strong team. Boon-viile then gained possession of the ball and by a recovered punt carried it close to Jasper’s goal line when Loge, quarterback, snagged a perfect pass and went over for a touchdown. Boonville failed to kick goal and the score at the quarter was 6-0.In the second quarter Jasper strengthened and Meier covered the field for 35 yards in a spectacular run and scored Jasper’s first touchdown. MeGlinekey kicked goal and the score6 in favor of Jasper. The third quarter was featured by line ! plunges on both sides; Slomer of Jasper and Hoover of Boonville starring. At the beginning of the last quarter j Boonville was only 15 yards from goal when a fumble gave the ball toJasper, who marched down the field making yards twice till Heinrichs circled the right end in an open field | run of 32 yards and scored the second touchdown, Jasper won the try forpoint. Coach Reid then sent in hissecond string men and the team was well on their way for another touchdown when the final whistle blew, j Heinrichs, Slomer, Meier and Me-Glinchey starred for Jasper while Hoover was the outstanding ground-gainer for Boonville.Score by Quarters:Boonvilie H.
