Last week the Tigers eased out a 6-3 win over Royal. The Tigers were glad to get out of there luckily with a win. And again the defense was the standout for the locals. The defense had to put the ball on the goal line before the Tigers could score. TheTigers have played four games and have scored just 18 points. But they are 2-2. So the defense has to get the credit for the two wins. I usually don’t mention any names in my article. But you got to give credit where it is due. Ronnie Machala by far made the play of the game when he caught the long pass that covered about 73 yards. Just about more yards than the team made all night. And Melvin Pechacek played a great game as he usually does. And he scored the Tigers’ lone TD. If the Tigers are going to make a run for the district the offense is going to have to start doing its share.
