laALL-STAR SOn BALL BATTLE AT ARMORYA three-game series at the 132nd infantry regiment armory between the Chicago All-Stars softball team, and the world’s softball champions, the National Screw and Mfg. company girls of Cleveland, Ohio, is the treat that awaits softball fens Saturday and Sunday, October 9-10.Seats are now on sale at McCabe field, Lavergne and Madison, any evening from 7:30 to 9 p.m.The Chicago All-Stars will feature:“Twi” Shivly, “Bubbles” Donahue, “Marge” Brown. Elian Carrots of the Montgomery Motors 1937 City Champions; Evelyn Paeth, Ann Goldstein, “Dot” Gramberg. Mary Ryan. Eva Skry-dlewski of the Eddie McCabes, winners of 80 games out of 90 games played; “Toots” Hartnett, Catherine Fellmeth, Anne Solaway of the Rival Dog Foods; Shirley Jamieson, Clara Schilace of the Vogel Bloomer Girls; Dorothy Uhler and Schneider of the Pugh Coal Co.; and other stars from the Monarch Laundry and Queen i Anne Candy Co.
