Football Tie With Race-Iand.The Prichard High School Yellow Jackets fought their way to a tie game with the Raceland HighSchool football eleven on the Raceland field Saturday, Oct. 1. Thegame was clean and bitterly contested throughout. Grayson made five first downs to Raceland's four.Raceland carried the ball to Grayson’s one yard line but lacked the punch to put it over. The YellowJacket line held them for downs and Schwab punted out. Thegame ended with the ball in Race— land’s possession on Grayson’s forty yard line. Adkins starred for Raceland and Beckwith forGrayson. A large number of Grayson people accompanied the team.These teams will clash again onthe Grayson gridiron, Thanksgiving Gay.
