Bessemer City feels it could have been 4-1 without the mistakes that cost it close losses to West Lincoln and Hunter Huss. Country Day’s strong tradition has been upheld this season, with the Buccaneers boasting a 5-1 mark and defeating its opponents by an average of 20 points per game. The Bucs’ only loss came by two touchdowns against Charlotte Catholic. The Yellow Jackets have lost a total of five fumbles and been penalized 135 yards in their last two games.
