A Cortez Booker fumble on second and goal from the Minden 10 yard line stopped the Tigers biggest threat at the quarter’s end.However, J-H continued to move the ball offensively in the second quarter while containing the Tide's dynamic duo of Shine and running back Sammy Searnster (who had 35 yards in 16 trips on the night).A brilliantly-designed trap, which took advantage of the Tide’s defensive pursuit, worked time and again for Jonesboro-Hodge. resulting in gains of 11, 9, 12, and 26 yards for Shannon Brown and Marlon Jackson in the first half.The Tigers finally broke the ice with a 29 yard touchdown strike from Jessie Parks to a wide open Stevie Anderson over the deep middle withSee J-Hodge, page 4B
