Completes Heavy Softball SeasonPictured above is the Frederika Merchants' softball team tvhich participated in three summer leagues and compiled a record of 48 wins and 17 losses. They are: 1 to r, front row, Don Bergmann, pitcher; Gary Stromer, catcher; Doug Boeckmann, aitcher and right field. Back row, Marvin Knooloh, shortstop; Dave Van Ahn, outfield; Melvin Bergmann, first base; Harold Laube, right field; Harley Bergmann, escond base; Duane Schumacher, left field; Wesley Foster, third base. Team members lot pictured are Virgil Lampe, outfield, and Rudy Pavelec, pitch-sr. They ended in second place in the Friday Night Travel eague, first place in the Frederika league, and shared first place n the Readlyn league. They also won three tournaments, the Frederika invitational. Readlyn league, and the Dunkerton invitational.
