Englishman gave a good account of himself as did Baird, Sutton and Messenbrink. Coach Miller and his assistant, Roberts, should develop a good team as the weeks progress.“Tigh,” nickname for Lemont’s flashy fullback was the Red Grange o; the game clipping off more yardage than everybody else on both teams put together. Lemont used a satisfactory passing system in gaining yardage. The first touchdown came early in the second•quarter with a successful 50 yard run by Tigh. After that Lemont seemed to have the game all their way, except for a belated rally featur ng a 1lt; ng run by Baird and a short lived successful passing attack in the closing moments.Miller’s DilemmaCoach Miller, a new man and a likeable fellow', is very unfortunate this year due to mixed schedules due to no fault of his own. Not knowing conditions of this region at all he made the mistake of regarding last Saturday's contest asa pre-season game and his inexperienced team did not get the training that they needed for such a contest. Lemont took them offtheir feet although the boys fought hard. They may meet Lockport here Saturday although this is not at all certain.Thu lineup:LEMONT BLUE ISLANDMjirkwrs........1, K............
