Conditions—Rain, mud and water. Requirements necessary for perfect score of 1000 points wTere to check in at Six Controlls within one minute of a fixed time, and to finish the run with machine in as perfect repair in every detail as when it started.28 machines in all started.7 perfect scores were made.2 Harley-Davidsons started.2 Harley-Davidson made perfect scores.Other September Records:Rose City Endurance Run, Portland to Seattle and return, 44 starters; 7 perfect scores. Harley-Davidson got ODe of the 7 perfect scores.Cliff Tunte, Ohio—State F. A. M. Eudurance Run, 26 starters. The only private owner to finish rode a Harley-Davidson.Fergus Falls, Minn.—Endurance Run, 314 miles; 23 starters; 3 perfect scores—all of-which were won by Harley-Davidsons.Fort Wayne, Ind.—Mud Run; 18 starters; 3 perfect scores, 2 of which were won by Harley-Davidsons.Baltimore, Md.—Sociability Run; 125 mftes; 1st and 2nd honors were won by Harley-Davideons.Harley-Davidson Motorcycles cost more but are worth it.
