HUDSONS BEAT NEWARKS IN EASTERN LEAGUE GAME.The West Hudsons defeated the Newark Football Club In an Eastern Association Football League game yesterday on the Harrison oval by the score of 2*1. There wan no scoring In tho first half, the game being dull and listless, but in the second half the Hudsons wpke up and there was something doIn£.Carter r#ut through the first goal for the victors, but some time later Buist evened u: matters with a wfcked low shot that got past Hunt. The game was a merry struggle from this point on. and it seemed for a time that tin* Newarks would get another, but near the end of the game on a corner kick Hob Lenox butted in the ball with his head for the winning tally.The line-up:West Hudsons.
