_ area prosto compete onPGA squaduI SIjhi i aEmilRoewertDonLindseydibhDon Lindsey, Flint Hill Golf Club professional, and Sheaffer Memorial Golf Club professional Emil Roewert will represent southeast Iowa on the Iowa PGA team today in the annual Iowa Cup Matches at the rugged Des Moines Golf and Country Club courses.The 12-man team will face the Iowa Golf Assn.'s 12-man amateur squad in the event, which began in 1968.The Iowa PGA won the first place trophy in 1970 after losing to the IGA team in the first two years of the series.Roewert was elected secre-tary-treasurer of the Iowa PGA at the annual fall meeting in Iowa City. He is a former president of the organization and had previously served assecretary-treasurer.
