Gate City’s offense — -working like a ; well-oiled machine — ripped through and around the Indian : defense for a total offense of 418 yards.The Rogers boys — as usual — had a banner night as Phil scored four touchdowns and four extra points while, picking up 116 yards rushing. Stan tallied two touchdowns ard outgained the entire Indian offense with 156 yards rushing in 13 carries arid caught two passes good for 18 yards.The Gale City defense was just as outstanding as they threw Dobyns-Benneit backs for losses totaling 71 yards and allowed a net of only 16 yards rushing.
