Directors of the Oshkosh i club, Joseph Kronzer, Gus Jeschke, Charles A. Wiechering and S. J. Luclisinger, have assumed responsibility for the bills, and the club will enter the 1935 season with a ; clean slate financially, it was said.1The Indians, following the plan intended by the directors, and also : made necessary because experienced ■ players had already been signed by I other clubs when Oshkosh decided to go, used more young players and more home town players than any other club in the loop. In addition, the club had the league’s youngest manager, although he has campaigned through 12 seasons in league and independent baseball.Kenneth Kriesel, team manager, announced today he will not be with the Oshkosh Indians next season as pilot. He said he had other plans in mind.He said he was satisfied with the progress made, and pointed out that Oshkosh had only two weeks to build a team for the opening game, not long enough to get a good team rounded together. Oshkosh had to experiment with young players, many or whom were getting their first experience with the improved pitching in league play. Kriesel said these young players will be ripe to play heads-up bail next season.
