Nino men who have made Iowa track history in the past four years have been work-m, ing out every night with the Old ■^ iGold yearling track,aspirants. j1 *! Eric Wilson, three year varsity j {dash man, captain in 1922, and ijr I Olympic team member last summer, is head coach. Chan Coulter, another Olympic team member, who eaptains the Hawkeye cinder squad this season, is working with the 440 men and the broad♦jump candidates.Coulter and Wilson rank as two of the best dash men ever turned out at the local institution. Helping Coulter with the broad jump men are Nesler and Bveringham. Nesler has been a varsity man in that event for the past year while Everingham was perhaps the most outstanding dash and broad jump star on the first year squad last year.Lloyd Meder and Jack Boyles are spending their time teaching the pole vaulters the fine points of their event. Both men are Varsity performers who t rank among the best in the game. Dick Shope who has been prominent in the hurdle events on Iowa teams for the last two seasons, works daily with the high and low stick men. Cos college, journeys to Dubuque for a game with Columbia and Tabor college engages Midland at Tabor Field. T^e Wisconsin School of Mines which last Saturday was defeated by Coe ^at Cedar Rapids, again invdes Iowa soil for a tilt with Luther college at Decorah.Three Iowa football games also are scheduled for today. Iowa State Teachers college goes to Davenport to do battle with St. Ambrose, Iowa V*resleyan meets Culver-Stockton at ML Pleasant, and Graceland college goesr to Oskaloosa for an engagement with Penn.vhaet
