Travellers awards nightThe Travellers Motor Hotel fastball club, winners of the Alberta Intermediate * ^ championship, held their wind-5 banquet and awards night the Travellers Motor Hotel Sect 27._________________________Frank Brennan won the a-ward for the most gentlemanly, most sportsmanlike player: and Brta# Honke copped the most valuable player award for his joik on the mound and at third hue.Butch Pepplur received the trophy for the most home runs with 12 throughout the season. . The trophy tor the best bating average went to Don Holt, who maintained a standing of•439.Ernie Armitage, sponsor andgeneral manager of the team, was awarded a plaque, for hav-' the Albhjta provincial champions, andlllothei players were awarded a small plaque for their efforts throughout the vear._ ;________________Members of the team present at the banquet were Frank Brennan, Brian Honke, Bob Fortier, Butch Pepplur, Ron McKenzie, Don Holt, equipment manager, Bert McCluskey, Moe Tomlnuk, Ernie Armttage, sponsor and general manager, Norm Wiwcharuk, secretary-treasurer, Gordon Northey, coach and Wally Arychuk, manager.Dennis Blondeau, umpire, received an autographed white cane.
