Press Box Powwowby JIM BARTONJunior fullback Sieve Criswell was the tending rusher for tho OCHS football team this season picking up (137 yards on 97 carries for a G.G average, according to statistics compiled by Coach Skcet Mahler.Criswell's best nights were 153 yards against Corning and 103 yards against Missouri Valley. His longest runs were scoring jaunts of 81 yards against Corning, 55 against Atlantic and 54 against Clarindo.Senior Roger Sell, who probably was the Rams* best all-around player this season, was second on the rushing chart with 329 yards gained on 76 attempts for a 4,G average. Sell started the season at quarterback, but after being injured early in the Red Oak game was switched to halfback. His rushing statistics largely were compiled in the remaining six games.Sell’s best showing was against Corning when he rambled for 111 yards. Roger Sell started at quarterback in the opener against Sidney and hit one of six passes for 16 yards.Topping the pass receivers was Dave Baker with 307 yards gained on 12 catches, including three touchdowns. His longest gain was a 59-yard scoring play against Atlantic. Next on the list was Dennis Lincoln with 11 catches for 208 yards and one touchdown. Roger Sell caught four passes for 50 yards, Mike Jens three for 29 yards, Steve Turner two for 17 yards, Steve Belt one for 15 yards, Hoyt Ifayden one for eight yards and Steve Criswell two for three yards.• * •The GCIIS scoring chart was led by Roger Sell with 33 points scored on four touchdowns and nine extra points, Dave Baker was close behind with 30 points scored on five touchdowns.
