Parkersburg. by her 26 to 7 defeat of Morgantown, easily proved her supremacy In West Virginia'high school football. While there is one other team that never tasted defeat in West . Virginia High School Athletic association circle* (Wheeling), that team I played only three teams eligible to the championship of West • Virginia and her season's record shows four games 1 won. four games lost and one tied.Merlinton. the only other team which Lhas not met defeat at the hands of some Wort Virginia high school, while I undoubtedly a strong team, is not a member of the association (which comprises the strongest teams in the state) and lost one of its games to a Virginia high school team.
