Did Not Like the Decision.Detroit. Mich., Nov. 20.—Rube Ferns tv as given the decision ever Charlie (Dutch) Thurston at the end of the fifteenth round of their bout ut the Light Guard armory last night, and Referee Malachy Hogan was immediately afterward set down as a robber by a large proportion of the crowd .present. Thurston evidently bad many friends in the crowd, and a great how? was raised. The mob yelled “robber. '•rotten/' and other choice epithets, and crowded around the Chicago man as he started to leave the building. It looked for a moment as if a riot might result, but several policemen surrounded Hogan and conducted him to a small room at the rear of the building. No blows were struck, though a dozeo of angry men acted as if they, would have liked to take a punch at the referee.
