Scott Templeton Wins in St. LouisEight-year-old Scott Templeton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Templeton returned homo from St. Louis, Mo., this week with the first place trophy in his age group of Ford’s PPK contest. Scott has won the local, zone and district in addition to the area at St. Louis. Scott will return to St. Louis Dec. 14 for the Regional competition. Should Scott win the Regional, which will be the toughest competition to date, he will go to the National at Miami, Fla., to compote during the NFL Pro Bowl Game. Highlights of Scott’s trip were the banquet for the 18contestants, meeting Mike Newell of Pratt, Kan., also a contestant in the contest. seeing and talking to St. Louis Cardinal grid players, Jim Bakken and Chuck Walker and viewing highlights of Cardinal football.Punt, Pass Kick Trophy For Scott Templeton
