Dover Team Easily.TWENTY PLAYERS WERE USED.The Akros Defeated the Kenda!Tigers Sunday Afternoon forthe Light Weight Championship of the City by One PointThe Tigers held a practice game Saturday at the park with the Canal Dover team and at the end of the gameIthe score stood 39 to 0 in favor of the tTigers. The game was witnessed byover five hundred persons but the gatereceipts were very small, owing to the1cfact that Manager Wise had invited allthewho desired to do so to go to grounds where admission was free tothose who desired to eater that way.The first half was played for the fullthirty-five minutes and at the end ofthe'half the Canal Dover team waswell worn out. The second,half was tohave been of the same length, but after fifteen minutes of play the gamewas called. The Canal Dover team hadbeen badly used up and Ted Nesser, ofthe Tigers, went in as right guard forthe visiting team. The Tigers dividedup the honors and nearly all had a shyat the game.
