Basketball Titans to open season tonight in ChillicotheMeet the TitansDoug Bareli*►TV football menu7 squad. Doug Barch, 6-5 senior center, returns for his final season. Barch was most valuable player in the state last year. The other returnee is two-year letterman Joe Kin-nard, 5-10 guard.These two veterans will start along with sophomore transfer Tom Preston from Utica and freshmen Lardean Weston and Roger Payne. Other members Greg Ketter and Jim Miller supply depth at the guard position.Although being relatively young and inexperienced, the Titans are expected to be a strong rebounding squad with an aggressive defense.The Titans open their home season Saturday by entertaining OU-Laneaster.Assisting Titan Coach Greg Wince will be Chris Swisher, former Newark High School and West Liberty State College guard.
