The team will be managed by Ray I* Doan, manager of the House of David baseball team.Besides Miss Didrickson, the quintet will boast of Miss Jackie Mitchell, whose sports specialty is baseball; Darrall Darby, former Kentucky university star; “Lefty” Beyers, Kansas State; Carl Howard, formerly with Olson’s Terrible Swedes; Dick Butzen of Loyola I “(Chicago)” and Bob Gruenlg, Northwestern.Commenting on her golf, a game with which she was unfamiliar until a year or so ago, Miss Didrickson says she shoots in the 70’s now.
