This was a happy moment for the Fenger fans Saturday at Soldier Field for Clyde Carlig. Fenger end. has just caught a 40 yard heave from Frank Esposito to tally Fenger’s first touchdown against Lane Tech. Halfback Sopkins of Lane arrives too late to stop completion. Official apprising play is Elliott Hasan. Fenger’s joy did not last long, however, as Sopkins and his team mates went on to win a 27 to 19 thriller. REPORTER PHOTO
