--=5*mNew York, Nov. 21.—Ralph Thompson, millionaire and a meniber of a. prominent Schenectady family, who is now being sued by Norman Selby, bet' ter known as Kid McCoy, for $100,GOO for tbe alienation of his wife's' affec--tions, will have another suit added to •his Hst of troubles. Miss Mary Mar- tel, a Philadelphia girl, has authorized her lawyer in this city to institute suit against Thompson for broach of promise. ' ! •;Thompson and Mrs. McCoy were married last month, and are now living at Saratoga.According to Miss Martel she met Thompson 13 years ago, and in December, 1902, he asked her to marry him. Many letters, it is said, passed .between them and Thompson's letters-carried with them a story of undying love and promise of fidelity.• Miss Martel also claims that she accompanied Thompson to many places, where he always introduced her as his wife.
