The ID was set up by good runs by Overly, Dave Shoemaker and a fine punt return by David Pittman, The second half found the Charger offense killedby numerous penalties. Steve Mel aughin and Danny 'ares ran well. Kenny Wiginton passed beautifully and Bobby Crocket? caught several passes. The defense was !ed by Bob Dubey, Richard Andrews. Dean Andersen Bobby Stewart Mike Hamilton, JohnSearcy, tarry Cook, Shoemaker Janes and McLaughlin. The entire Charter team played outstanding ball, and except for two fine runs by Redskin Rick 1 ambro, could have won the game.
