North Dakota State’s Bisons, worked out onthe same gridiron this afternoon inpreparation for the final home game of the season Friday.Coach Casey Finnegan led his Bisons into Lubbock yesterday from Oklahoma City, where Friday night they defeated O. C, U., 13 to 8. They established “training quarters” here and will drill until Friday on the Tech field.Twenty-one players comprise Coach Finnegan's squad, which includes one of the fastest ball carriers to visit here this season. Fritz Hanson, halfback. Hanson took a punt on his own goal line Friday night and ran the length of the field for a touchdown that beat the Goldbugs. He was limping today with a slightly injured leg. but is expected to be ready Friday.Fourteen of Pete Cawthon’s varsity will play their final games at home this week.sophomores have been given their chance through injuries sustained by Wlibert “Cotton” Harrison and Tracy Kellow in the Texas game.Judy Truelson will start at left tackle instead of Manuel (Tiny) Godwin, also injured in the Longhorn battle. Although the Frog injuries were numerous in the game with Texas, all are expected to be recovered sufficiently to permit their facing the Owls.Because of the injuries.
