They were injured in a 14-man Battle Royale Street Fight the night before.Sure they were.Much of the crowd when hearing that these two weren’t showing up began yelling “This thing is rigged” and “Injured, how can someone get injured in something as fake as this?”Well, myself, not being abig professional wrestling fan, decided to have a good time anyway. Even though the Champ wasn’t here.I sat through the first two matches, which featured Nick Kiniski and Allan West and Mr. Magnificent and Mitch Snow, respectively. These two matches just didn’t cut the mustard. But I did join in with the other fans yelling the cat calls and the obscenities at the most hated wrestler.Kiniski and Mr. Magnificent both had the same beautiful blonde woman, who wore a garbage bag-like dress with fishnet stockings, for a manager. She was the brunt of many of the one-liners, most of which cannot be printedhere. Then came the third match.Ustinov rushed out from the locker room with a long metal chain and a Soviet flag. Ustinov was met by boos from the audience when he displayed the flag.Tommy “Wildfire” . Rich, who won the match, saved the day by picking up the chain and beating Ustinov with it.Amazingly, Ustinov had no marks on his back from the chains. He even had enough strength to throw Rich from the ring onto the scorer’s table. He began to kick and shove Rich.Following a scuffle on the floor of the fieidhouse, they both went back to the ring, where Rich pinned the Soviet to win the battle. These guys must be superhumans to withstand all this pain. Or should I say good actors. The tag team fight was very enjoyable. This match revved up the crowd, especially the grandma and grandpa in frontof me. These two, along with their grandchildren called the Midnight Express team every word in the Book of Swears and even gave them the one* finger salute.Needless to say I was having a better time watching these people than the wrestlers. But then the battle started to get good.J.T. Southern, who teamed with D.J. Petersen, got into a brawl with Dennis “Loverboy” Condrey. Of course, it had the headlocks and body slams, but this altercation had a little more than your average skirmish.Southern threw Condrey into the corner and when his teammate Peterson distracted the referee, Southern ripped down the back of Condrey’s shorts. The moon was showing brightly over Neenah for the evening. And if that wasn’t enough. Southern later kicked Condrey where it hurts. The audiencePnnHrpv vp.lnp.fi.The so-called World Championship Title Match pitted Dirty Dick Slater against Chief Wahoo McDaniel.Slater dominated this battle from the start by throwing the Chief around the ring and eventually tossing him out of the ring. Slater then picked up a chair and bonked McDaniel on the head with it.Blood was dripping and oozing onto the floor and McDaniel’s face looked as if he put on war paint. Then Slater beat up the referee and the brawl began.Ustinov was the first toleave the locker room to go after Slater. The rest of the wrestlers followed and started beating on one another. The 12-man Battle Royale had begun.Faces were hitting the floor. Knees were used as weapons. Bodies were flying everywhere. The gathering of fans were going crazy. What a show it was!
