Boxboro Racing Team Wins BigBOXBORO-On Sunday November 1, there was a very successful snowmobile drag race at Culleys Ski-Doo Ranch in Lancaster, Mass. The local Polaris racing team was undefeated for the day in all trial and qualification runs.The 649 C.C. Polaris Star Standard T X driven by Lewis Lunn placed first in Class 4 which was a 600 C.C. Class. In ~ the 800 ‘ C.C.' Class which was Class 5 and also driven by Lewis Lunn, he again placed first. Inthe open competition Class, Lunn raced against machines ebm^rable with his own and larger, once again coming* in-first.__________________The Polaris machine used Sunday is a Standard T Xconsumer machine497Q-vintageset up at Leisure Time Living-Centre-in-Boxboro^-whete-they^are serviced for racing purposes.Robert Culley of the Culley Ski-Doo Ranch was the starter for the day and the results of the races that the Boxboro team were entered as follows: Class. #4-lst Lewis Lunn on a Polarjs;2nd Louis Mazerolli on a Ski-Doo; 3rd Gerry Norris on a Sno-Jet; Class #5-lst Lewis Lunn on a Polaris; 2nd Gerry Norris on a Sno-Jet; 3rd Louis Mazerolli on a Ski-Doo; Open Compgtitibn-lst Lewis Lunn on a Polaris; 2nd Louis Mazerolli on a Ski- • Doo; 3rd Gerry Norris on a Sno-Jet.Anybody wishing to see these machines in action this weekend may go to the Wilmington Drag Strip in Wilmington, Vermont, on Sunday, November 8 at 1 p.m. or come and see the winning machines at Leisure Time Living Centre on Route #111 Boxboro, open house for the next two weeks.
