The Y.M.C.A. crew, formerly tiioj, Bath A. lt;\ will tackle the best contingents in the state and hoje to be rated among the same.('onsiderable hinges on the forming of an American Legion league again this coining Winter. Should such league be organized the Y.M.(\A. team will make a supreme hid to enter the same, and based on their showing against last year’s participants of the league, the Bath outfit should render a mighty good account of themselves. Friday evening a practice game was played at the “Y ” with Perkins, center. Gilmore and Stover, forwads. Spinney uud Dow, backs. Gilmore and Perkins are both showing old time flashes of speed and accuracy on the offense, and rolled up the points with considerable regularity. Monday evening another practice session will be held, with as strong an opposing five as can be mustered.Xew men that are making a strong bid for recognition on this year's squad are “Teddy” Ham, “Packy” McFarland, Harold Sonia, Alec MacDonald and Nick Miholos.The first game is but a short time away, and the entire squad are requested to report Monday evening.
