Rambler frosh best ShakamakWorthington took a six point lead in the third period Thursday then went on to defeat visiting Shakamak 47-44 in a freshman basketball game.Worthington led 10-8 at the first stop but Shakamak took a two point 24-22 lead just the half. Worthington went up by six in the third period and a Shakamak rally in the final stanza fell short by three.Rusty Freeman topped Worthington with 18 points and Norman Swango had 15 points and 13 rebounds while Brian Spainhower netted eight.Roger Bennett had 14 to pacethe Lakers, Gary Schlomer,Rod Daugherty and John Pierceeach had eight, Eric Sietman scored four and Mark Dilts two.
