Doan, sports promoter here, is spending the winter months selling minor leaguers the idea that with a hit of coaching they can improve their game and consequently ; their earning power.The baseball school hs cpntem-, plates is something like an interne-ship in a hospital for a young doctor.Doan has announced that some ofthe best “professors” in baseball will teach his classes. Other players will be added to the “fttculty” of the new school, DoanI said,Doan, who also Is promoter of the House of David baseball club, will open his “all star baseball school,” at Hot Springs, Ark.. February 1 and it will consist of four “terms” of one week each.A catcher with only a weaknessfor pegging down to second base might learn how to do up the Jobright after one term at school. On the other hand a sandlotter withmany weaknesses might require all four terms.
