INTEREST IN CLABBY FIGH1Middleweight to Meet Prank Loganat Frisco.Special to The Globe.San Francisco, Cal., Nov. 17.— Jimmy Clabby, the Indiana middleweight whose defeat of Sailor Petroskey made an impression on the San Francisco fight bugs, has begun training for his Thanksgiving day bout with Frank Logan, the sturdy middleweight. /Clabby has claimed the middleweight championship, and if he defends it successfully against Logan he will be ready to challenge any of* them at 158 pounds ringside.Eddie McCoorty, with several others, dispute Clabby’s right to the championship, but Clabby’s record proves without a doubt that he has a right to style himself so, as some of the self-styled middleweights are really light heavies.Clabby is a trifle light for a middleweight and cannot make better than 150-154 pounds ringside, and Logan is in his best shape at 160 pounds ringside, or 158 pounds at 3 o’clock. Logan is hard hitting anlt;1 fast and is expected to win over Clabby.
