SHAWNEETOWN - Gary Patton lost only Dennis Charleton and Scotty Rister from last year’s team and returns an experienced squad which could well be the league darkhorse. Bruce Bard, who rates as the top GEC player and one of the best in this part of the state regardless of league, will carry the Indian offensive load. The 6-3 senior jumping jack is listed as a guard-forward because he can score from anyplace on the court. Mike Duff, a 6-3 freshman, will start and can make the Indians a storng rebounding club if he comes through early. A pair of 6-0 seniors, Mike Flahardy and David Wood, join 5-4 classmate Rick Seely in rounding out the starting lineup.
