Chiefs Lose $39,000 In Season OperationSYRACUSE, N.Y, (AP) — Donald Potter was out today as president of the community-owned Syracuse baseball club that finished last in the International League for the second straight season. ^The clubs board of directors, at the annual stockholders meeting Thursday, named A1 Deisseroth to replace Potter, who had headed the club for two years.Potter retained his place on theboard of directors.In other business, directors .voted to retain Donald V. La Bruzzo as general manager.The Syracuse Chiefs lost $39,000on its 1962 operation the directors said.The Chiefs had working agreements with both the New York Met's and the Washington Senators for the past season. They have signed an agreement with Detroit for next year.
