The Bombers quickly piled up a 34-0 lead in the opening quarter. Led by St. Louis’s best, the highest scoring back, junior Joe Pe-den tallied 4 touchdowns and 2 extra points, while Charles DePew, another junior, scored twice on long runs. Marsh Pitzman, a senior, counted twice. Bui'roughs had a team dominated by juniors and will be tough next year.It was. the 17th stranght victory fortthe Bombers, their second straight undefeated season, and their seventh straight win or tie for the title in the A.B.C. League.
