City officers win shooting contestTRAVERSE CITY — Two Traverse City police officers walked away with top honors in a recent open combat shoot sponsored by the Harrison Sportsman Club.Ptlm. David Leach and John Fitzgerald fired 60 rounds twice, once for individual score and once for team score, to capture first place in the Class Ccompetition.Each was awarded a trophy.
